The TAGsparency project team is composed of:
► Grégory (French - Age: 32): Acting as a Co-CEO, he holds a PhD in Computer Science and a Master degree in Electronical Engineering with a specialization in home automation technologies. Gregory is highly interested in the development of innovative software systems and to bring more intelligence in home automation systems.
► Franck (French & Italian - Age: 34) : Acting as a Co-CEO, Franck is a Project Director in Business Process Digitalization for the last 4 years and has run several Food Business projects in Europe and Asia. Prior to this, Franck was formerly the Head of the Internal Audit in a major Luxembourgish Group acting in the field of Automotive Equipment Manufacturing. Over the last 10 years, he has been exposed to top management issues and technologically strategic decisions and has designed and managed a successful EUR 6 Mio Industry 4.0 Project for his employer. Franck is a former PwC Senior Advisor and has provided advisory services to numerous institutions like the European Investment Bank, the European Court of Auditors, the European Commission, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program. He notably served one year in Iraq in 2010-2011 working for UNDP and was a top advisor to the Minister of Finance and Economy in Iraqi Kurdistan. Franck started his career at Deloitte Consulting in Paris after two Masters Degrees obtained at the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises (Master’s Degree specialized in Internal Auditing) and at the Paris Descartes University (Master’s Degree specialized in Accounting, Control and Financial Auditing).
► Thomas (German - Age: 35): Acting as a Project Manager, Thomas holds a PhD in Computer Sciences (University of Luxembourg). Over the last 4 years, Thomas worked at the University of Luxembourg on several research projects in collaboration with industrial partners — mainly in the domain of the Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems, and Industry 4.0. He worked with the main electricity grid operator in Luxembourg on an intelligent real-time monitoring and prediction system to improve reliability and safety in smart grids. His research interests include the Internet of Things, data analytics, big data, and applied machine learning. Prior to this, he spent more than seven years in the industry, working as a software engineer and software architect in different domains, among others in the automotive and banking sectors. Thomas holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Luxembourg, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Hagen and a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences Kempten. Thomas is expert in developing critical software systems and will be responsible for software quality in the TAGsparency project.
► Maxime (French - Age: 32): Acting as the CFO, Maxime is a French Certified Public Accountant and Financial Audit Professional. He started his career at KPMG France before joining Deloitte Luxembourg in 2013 as an Audit Manager for Commercial Companies.
► Assaad (Lebanese - Age: 29): He holds a PhD in Computer Sciences (University of Luxembourg) Leading all data analytics efforts, his research interests include multi-objective optimization, security, privacy, and machine learning. He currently focus his work on live machine learning algorithms and on developer tools to make machine learning easier to integrate in software applications.
► Jordan (French & Mexican - Age: 28): Acting as a Production Engineer, Jordan is an active Investor in Real Estate, Commodities and Cryptocurrencies. Since 2008, he's also a Trader specialized in various financial instruments such as stocks, currencies, indices and commodities. Jordan is specialized in Mechanical Engineering, and graduated from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (I.N.S.A), in Strasbourg (France). Highly specialized in Lean Manufacturing Systems, Production & Supply Chain Management, he started his career at Johnson Controls, then joined ThyssenKrupp for three years in France and moved at the Corporate Headquarters in Liechtenstein for two years to supervise the set-up of automotive production lines for ThyssenKrupp worldwide. He finally joined as Corporate Development Manager the Headquarters of a Luxembourgish Group acting in the field of Automotive Equipment Manufacturing focused on strategic decisions of the Group. As special envoy from Headquarters, he spent more than two years in Mexico leading all activities related to the startup of a new Manufacturing Plant. Jordan will focus on the integration of the TAGsparency solution on food production lines and the supply chain.
► François (French - Age: 33): Acting as the CTO, he holds a PhD in Computer Sciences (University of Rennes, France). His research interests include software engineering for distributed and self-adaptive systems, IoT, and big data. After developing several email@example.com platforms, he currently works on the GreyCat framework for data analytics and machine learning used in the TAGsparency solution.
► Alexandre (French - Age: 31): Business Developper in Asia and Founder of a wine importation company in China, Alexandre will be our interface with Asian consumers, producers and distributors when it will be the moment to examine their specific expectations during the project development phase. Installed in Shanghai for the last six years and speaking fluent Chinese, he is specialized in the marketing of Food and Beverage products in Asia and has an in-depth expertise in Wine Business Management. Alexandre is working for a major F&B Distributor in Asia and has 12 years experience in the F&B sector.
